Sully's Tavern

I wanted their with a friend of mine to tried their steak and burger! My steak was OK, nothing special though. The burger wasn't tasty! The menu says they grind their own fresh beef daily, but I doubt that. The service was slow! The waitress didn't come back to our table for another 20 minutes. We were finished eating and still waiting on her to check on us. the food was all very plain. I don't think I will be back! Also, we waited too long to get check!

This is probably the best steak I've ever had... at least a rival of the top 3. I've driven the 1.5 hours here twice just for the steak and I'll do it again. It isn't cheap, but if you don't mind paying for top quality you will not be disappointed.

Food was great, service was wonderful! I had the blackened chicken breast and it was very good! My husband had the hamburger steak and my son had the popcorn shrimp..very good! Would recommend this place for sure!

Karlie is the best bartender we have met in our 4+ years in Hattiesburg. Even when we came in a few minutes before close, she (and her food runner) were nothing but friendly and amazing tonight. Thank you!

Great steaks! Splurge on the gorgonzola cheese sauce. Burgers are great, too.

The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. The only things I didnt like were the really dim lighting made it a little hard to read the menu and it was packed so there was a 45 minute wait but you know a good soup attracts chairs. That's how you know a place is good.

Family took me to Sully's for my birthday. It was our first visit and we were definitely impressed!!! Our server was awesome and the food was excellent. From the steaks, to fried shrimp, to the burgers, all were delicious. The strawberry-peach margarita was amazing!! We will definitely go back again soon!!!

Rib eye was over the top, has to be the best in Hattiesburg!

If I had a choice for a last meal, it would definitely include tuna steak from Sully's

Nice atmosphere, serious food and friendly staff. Really good sauces and fresh food that they clearly spend some time on. Not cheap but reasonably priced for the type and quality of food. If you want some seriouly good food it is definately worth checking out.

Nice place, but not a quiet one. Good with friends if you're out having a good time, but if you're looking for drinks and conversation, you'll have to yell over whoever is playing that night.

Take it from a local, absolutely the best service and steak in town. You get more than your money worth and the "World Famous Cheese Cake" is home made and to die for.

Usually I'm extremely satisfied with the food from this establishment. Everything so far has been really good; a treat to my tastebuds! Tonight though, I tried something new...the shrimp and grits appetizer and was a little disappointed. The flavor was good, but for $12.99, I expected more than four medium sized shrimp in some cheese sauce and three small wedges of grits. 🤷‍♀️

I enjoy whatever my wife drinks, so even better when the scene fits the vibe. Best part of being a non drinker.

HONESTLY the best hamburger steak I ever had. Even better than my Mama’s. Service was excellent. Quantity of food for price was very fair. Overall I was extremely satisfied!

The meal was great. Rodeo was going on and the wait was an hour long,but once we got in the service was quick and friendly.

Pecan cheesecake was off the chain .....both the burger and ribeye steak were great.....since this is my 2nd time ever going there in just the last 3 days....on top of all that Monica provided excellent service .....on my last visit they had a live singer on guitar that only added to the ambience.....Being a over the road truck driver I would drive out of my way for this place ....it was seriously that good

Stopped in for lunch just happened to be on the road near there and got in at opening for lunch. It quickly filled up with the lunch crowd! Wow it was amazing! Great food! We all had a different lunch special- the salad was so fresh! We even had to try a dessert so we opted for the king cake cheesecake! Loved it and I’m not a fan of cheesecake!

Great lunch drop in or meet up, nice selections that span the palate. Tea or toddy. Rustic chill vibe.

Me and my husband sat in the center of the bar, 2 bartenders were behind the bar, male and female, we sat there with nothing in front of us except dirty silverware left behind and a dirty bar. Continued waiting and watching these Bartenders stand in front of us, looking around, talking casual and waiting on others even the ones 1 seat next to me, finally I spoke up as the girl brought change to the lady next to me and asked if we could be served, she looked at me as if s he e were embarrassed and took our order , not because we had menus, but because we knew what we wanted. This was all in about 17 minutes.

Such a great place! I ordered a small filet, and it was so good. I love the live music. We had a fairly large group, and our server was great.

Food was pretty good. I was with a really big party and my shrimp came out cold. I havent experienced their service with a regular group. It is probably better.

First, they've got some amazing French fries; get them! The hamburger I had was pretty good and the atmosphere sphere is okay, but the live music was a little too loud for my taste. If you're in the mood for steak or a burger, give them a try.

Allie makes every experience the best. She continuously goes above and beyond for customer service. Any time I’ve sat behind the bar, she never quits moving. Some nights she carries the staff with personality and great service. I love coming during her shift for a great experience. This girl and restaurant define customer service.

Maybe we were there on a bad night, but our food was not great. I had a salmon fillet they had on special and it was WAY too salty! My husband had better luck with his steak.

Best steak I have had in a long, long time. Very good servers and overall great atmosphere. Can't recommend Sully's high enough. Keep up the great work. Standing ovation!!!!!

Had lunch special and the hamburger steak with gravy was tasty, mashed potatoes were good. The roll was very tasty. Our wait staff did an excellent job of taking care of our meals and drinks. Wife had burger and said it was a little to greasy for her. Overall nice place.

Was passing through and came across this wonderful restaurant. The staff was extremely sincere, the food was delicious, and they have a stage for live music inside. I wish I lived a lot closer so I could hear some music. Definitely will be stopping by again when I'm in the area.

I'd been years ago to see a band but never eaten at Sully's. We stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon about 5. By looking at the parking lot it seemed like it would be packed, and most tables were full, but we found the bar almost completely open. The lone bartender seemed a little frazzled and understandably if the whole place was ordering drinks. (that's what baptists do on Saturdays, ha) Eventually he got some back up and we ordered a few beers. The draft selection was very basic so we decided on Southern prohibition Crowd Control in a can for $6 a beer. We both decided on the Sullivan burger, I got mine with onion rings and she got hers with fries. We ordered medium, and the burgers were definitely more on the well done side. Overall a good burger. We must have arrived just on time because the bar got super busy as our food arrived. The other bartenders were friendly even though it was getting hectic in there.

Great atmosphere in both the Hattiesburg and petal location. One of the best steaks in town.

Just plain hard to beat ole Sully's. Haven't had anything on the menu that was not good.
